Offering powdercoating and wheelbuilding services for motorcycles, primarily Harley Davidsons. My interest lies in single or multicoat processes for wire wheel rims and hubs as well as decorative coatings for engine covers and engine parts, such as heads, cylinders, primary and derby covers. Using Harley Davidson or aftermarket rims with the appropriate hubs, I can design, powdercoat and lace and true your wheel to your specifications.
Powdercoating is a decorative and protective coating process that produces a very durable and attractive finish on metal parts. It is especially good as a coating over parts that are subject to road hazards such as grit and stone chips. It is relatively heat insensitive after it has cured and can be used on engine parts where regular automotive paints would fail. Furthermore, it is resistant to gasoline and oil.
There are a tremendous number of powdercoating colors and textures available, including pearls, candies and metallics. When looking through my site, notice the use of these multicoat colors and finishes, most of which are designed with striping or other masking techniques. These effects are more difficult to obtain with powdercoating compared to wet paint. |
